Filling the HB treasure chests!!

Hi guys,

Mess and I have been discussing some issues regarding the HB treasury. Basically we would like to have a bit of HB funding to buy Ventrilo servers, hold some tournaments with prize money/game/gear prices etc.

It seems we have more traffic than we thought on the site, some days more than 500 unique IP visits (A bit curious about that, but we will connect the site to Google analytics to see for our self). Which has lead us to the decision to look into google adsense as a potential source of revenue.
We know that for some this might be a major FAIL!!!! But we ask you remember the goal is to offer more services to the HB members. GIF´ LOOT!!
If you have any experience with Google Adsense or a suggestion for a better service (need a really good argument since I know the Google system pretty well, and pretty sure I don’t have the time to learn another system) then we would like to hear about it.
So, comments, ideas for systems, adds, or how to spend the few bucks we hopefully can earn. We guess a ventrilo server is highest on the wish list?

Like I told you on the phone I think its a good idea.
And it would fit very nicely with my plans to implement a ladder/tournament system (prizes). Alpha has updated our TeamSpeak to version 3 (same IP as the old) so a dedicated Ventrillo server is not super high on my list.

Ads are already active for guests and registered users. So atm only members are not seeing them. We will see how it turns out and evaluate within the next month or so.

but a good idea tbh, if we have that many visitors we could earn a bit for some priceses and other fun competitions etc
