I'm not there yet, but I have activated a few themes for you to test out. The header banners and logos are not all in place, but will be over the next week or two.
I can see how many has what styles as default and will base style development on that. For now Hermes HB will continue to be the default style.
Prosilver.
Prosilver is the "new" standard PhpBB style. phpBB are discontinuing support for the old standard theme Subsilver, from the next version, so I have been looking mainly at Prosilver based themes.
Prosilver is light blue, and has full width. But the biggest change for everyone will probably be that the avatar and profile informations are now displayed on the right, instead of the left. It takes a little getting used too, but I'm actually preferring it now.
All additions/moderations to this forum will be tested on this style first. As a side note, the Update Status feature only changes the actual status on the Prosilver style. Its still displayed on the other prosilver based styles though.
Hermes HB
Hermes HB is Subsilver based, and currently the Default HB-eu style. As support for subsilver based styles are being discontinued I'm looking at alternatives. I have also been having some styles challenges because of the way the style is coded so I'm not entirely unhappy about having to change default style. Hermes HB also has some errors in Crome and IE I haven't been able to rectify.
SE Pro
SE Pro is based on Prosilver, its Black and grey, and uses the same icons as Prosilver, only in a grey version. ( I still got a few custom icons I need to edit.) SE Pro has a kind of Vista feel. I'm working on a changing banner for this style.
SE Square
SE Square is based on Prosilver, its blue with square corners and fixed width. SE Square uses the same icons as Prosilver.
I got 2 new themes in the works. One is an upgraded version of our old default forum style with the side graphics, unfortunately its subsilver based so I will only be adding it for those who want the old school feel. The other is light grey theme with a more professional feel to it.
Enjoy.
